• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password (encrypted).
• Location Data: Real-time GPS location during rides for navigation, ETA calculations, and safety. Background location is collected for drivers while they are online to match them with ride requests.
• Ride Data: Pickup and drop-off locations, ride duration, distance, fare, and ratings.
• Payment Information: Payment method details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens.
• Driver Documents: For drivers, we collect driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle inspection documents for verification.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our ride-sharing services.
• To match riders with drivers and calculate accurate fares and ETAs.
• To process payments and driver earnings.
• To send push notifications about ride status updates.
• To verify driver identity and vehicle compliance.
• To ensure safety and resolve disputes.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information with:

• Drivers/Riders: Your name, phone number, and location are shared with your matched driver or rider during a ride.
• Payment Processors: Stripe processes all payment transactions.
• Map Services: Google Maps is used for navigation and location services.
• Corporate Accounts: If you ride under a corporate account, ride details and costs are shared with your corporate administrator.
• Law Enforcement: When required by law or to ensure user safety.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Ride history and transaction data are retained for 7 years for financial compliance. You may request account deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings.
• Withdraw consent for location tracking (note: this will prevent the app from functioning).

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing (bcrypt), JWT authentication, and rate limiting to protect your data.

7. Children's Privacy

OBZIDN is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
